Who qualifies for the Heroes & Hometown rates?
Active-duty and veteran Military, First Responders (police, fire, EMS and more), and eligible Residents qualify for exclusive Virgin Voyages rates of up to 15% off select adults-only sailings. Proof of eligibility is required at booking.
How do I verify my military or first responder status?
Proof of eligibility is verified directly through Virgin Voyages at booking — no third-party app required. Military and First Responders provide documentation such as a drivers license, employment ID, or CAC card. Residents provide proof of residency. You only verify once the rate is already applied to your sailing.
What is a Resident rate, and who qualifies?
Resident rates are special Virgin Voyages fares for people who live in a qualifying state. With proof of residency you can save up to 15% on eligible resident cruise rates — including voyages that depart close to home.
Can I combine this with other promotions or solo discounts?
Heroes & Hometown rates are not combinable with every promotion, but the price you see already reflects your eligibility savings. For solo travelers, Virgin Voyages solo cabins are priced for one adult — never half the double rate — so you get genuine luxury solo travel discounts. Do these rates apply to Sea Terrace cabins only?
